ELA II students demonstrated their understanding of the trial scene in "To Kill a Mockingbird" by performing the script, exploring character motivations, and analyzing the impact of social context on justice. In addition, they learned about the layout and procedures of a courtroom.
Mrs. White's ELA IV class enjoyed a visit to the Lincoln Carnegie Library to conduct research for their essays. In addition, some students checked out books, applied for a library card, and even enjoyed coloring.

The 11th grade class had the opportunity to take the ACT Workkeys and earn an NCRC Certificate. The assessment consisted of Applied Math, Workplace Documents, and Graphic Literacy. . Students had an opportunity to earn a Bronze, Silver, Gold, or Platinum Certificate. Congratulations to the students who earned a certificate and to Austin A. and Riley O. for scoring a 6 or higher on all three assessments earning a Platinum certificate.
