Hello Lincoln Jr/Sr High School parents, guardians, students and community members. 

My name is Stefanie Couch.  I would like to introduce myself.  I am the new Jr/Sr High School principal.  I have been in education for 27 years.  I began my teaching career in Liberal, KS as a 7th grade math teacher and I coached volleyball, basketball and track.  I continued my career at Southwestern Heights in Kismet, KS for the next 18 years.  I taught English Language Arts to second language students, 7th-9th grade PE/Health and nutrition classes.  I also coached volleyball and basketball.  When I wasn't coaching I officiated volleyball, basketball and softball.  While coaching and teaching I pursued my administration degree and finished it in 2017. For the last 7 years I have been a principal and the athletic director at Bucklin Schools.   My husband, Eric and I, are empty nesters now, but we have raised 5 successful children and we have 5 sweet grandchildren.  I am very excited to be in Lincoln and my husband and I have felt very welcomed here.  I truly believe that my experience in education will benefit Lincoln and help this school continue to grow well-rounded young adults that make a difference in the real world.
